Eight suspects arrested over murder of newly-wed man

8 suspects,which 3 of them have a criminal record, aged between 20s-30s , have been detained over the murder of a spare parts shop owner, Allan Tee Kok Weng, 36 in front of his newly-married wife, outside a bistro in Taman Mount Austin. 

In another case, SAC Dr Hashim said that a 38-year-old suspect was detained on Sept 13 and police were looking for another 3 businessman Yip Soon Kent, 25, Danny Chuah Seong Khoon,40 and Carran Lee Sew Kian, 37 who in connection with the throwing of a Molotov Cocktail at Customs Department officer's house.

Opinion :

Feel sad to see that the poor newly-married man get murdered. But since the wife that was there on the scene was safe and not attacked by any of the suspects , shows that the suspects came with an aim and specific target. I wonder the departed has did something wrong that offends the 8 suspects and cause the case happened.

23 reports lodged over FB posting

Police have received 23 reports nationwide against a 25-year-old postgraduate student of a local university who had allegedly insulted Islam in his Facebook in July. This issue was highlighted on Tuesday after the suspect's house and car was attacked despite he claimed that he didn't make the posting.

In the other hand, SAC Mohd Adnan said that police arrested 5 men last Tuesday with the aged between 19-37 that in connection with the murder of a 65-year-old woman in Port Klang and they has been remanded until Wednesday. 

On Sept 12 , a victim was ransacked and found dead with her hands and legs bound together in her house.

Opinion 

We should understand that, although there is " Freedom of Speech" stated in Federal Constitution, but conflict and disagreement will never stop happened among citizens. Hence, for those who are social sites user , we should be caution in making any statement to avoid these cases , especially Malaysia which consist of different races and religions.

'Job interviewer' serial rapist nabbed

29-year-old salesman , the serial rapist who lured his victims through "job interviews" . He asked his intended victims to attend the interview in a budget hotel after they applied for a sales promoter job with a lucrative salaries about RM400 through a website. According to City CID chief SAC Datuk Ku, he would ask the victim to register the hotel room under her name by giving the excuse that he had left his identity card at home , yet convince them to bring along their valuables during staged interview.  Although there were total of 5 reported cases in Klang Valley and Selangor, but SAC Ku believes there are more women have fallen prey to this but did not lodge report. The suspect has been remanded to facilitate in investigations under Section 376 for rape and 392 for robbery.

Opinion :

As a freelancer , I know how desperate people looking for part time job especially those with high payment yet short working period. But at the same time , we , especially female need to be really caution when you apply for any job and attend some pre-working interview by checking the details of the job , ask opinion from other experienced freelancer and attend interview with the accompany by others. This case is a very good example and lesson for those who apply jobs through websites such as Facebook.

week 1 : journalism (?)

When you first seen the word Journalism , what do you think about ?

To me , it automatically link to Newspaper .. which sound so boring.
But few of my seniors actually said that , Mr.K , our journalism's lecturer was a very fun person..
hmm .. interesting (?)

So , before I entered the class , I assumed that this lesson would be super bored as I've no much interest on reporting , what i've thought about this subject , but at the same time , I was exciting , wonder how Mr.k able to make this class interesting  =)

Until today , although we only had 4-5 journalism lesson , but I had a better understanding about this subject , compare to just Newspaper . Well , the subject is something to do with reporting as mentioned but it's true also that the lecturer made the class fun and interesting , and to be honest, he is kinda ... cute ! =D

Cute when he used the word "Sayang" in the conversation with students. It sound really warm ...

I know as the lesson carry on further , I will receive a even in depth knowledge regarding this field , besides learning a better writing skills , improvement of languages , well usage of time limitation and able to work better under pressure or stress . Most important , I hope this class helps to change my perception towards this subject and i would slowly gain interest on this field.

For now , journalism might not be in my future occupation list , but who knows ? =)

week 1 : I'm who I'm

Welcome to my new little blog , a little space for me to express myself  =)

First of all , let me introduce myself :

My name is Jessie Hor , or you can call me Jess , 18 this year , is a Mass Communication Semester 2 student in INTI International College Subang , currently lives with my beloved family in a small garden in old Klang road, Kuala Lumpur.


From what my friends know about me , I'm a hyper active and outgoing person . Yea it is true that I like to social around and involve myself in lots and lots of outdoor activities.
I attended countless talent class and involved in varies type of competition and camps since young , such as piano, ballet , modelling , magic , cheer leading , leadership camps and dances ...

One of the main reason I go for this course is because of my personality .

Besides that , I'm a person who always seek for attention , I want and I need people's attention so badly all the time. To be honest , who doesn't want ?

Last time , when I was younger and undergoing rebellious period , I used improper ways to reach my aims even sacrificed my dignity or betrayed my love one. These cases happened had ruined my relationship among families and friends .. hmm .. I know it was immature and brainless ..

But now , as I grew up , I choose to fulfill my desires by upgrading myself .
" The best way to get attention , is always to be the most outstanding one "
Although I'm not as smart as others ; or as pretty as others ; as rich as others .. but they motivated me to work even harder to achieve what I'm looking for ; learn addition stuff to be more talented ; volunteer to be the leader to build leadership ...






These are what my taught of a kick start for getting a better future
I'm not born with charms but I will create a shine life
Not meant to be arrogant , but a principle that lead a teen towards her road of success

I'm just Me , I love me , and I'm proud of me
